Yes, when the site work is done properly. Coastal lots from Flagler Beach to Melbourne often sit on sand with a high water table, so we plan for dewatering, a compacted base, and careful backfill to keep the shell stable and prevent shifting after the pool is filled.
Is a fiberglass pool lower maintenance than concrete?
In most cases, yes. The smooth gel-coat surface resists algae, which usually means less brushing and lower chemical use, and there is no plaster interior to resurface every decade. You still need normal filtration, cleaning, and water balancing.
How long does it take to install a fiberglass pool?
Because the shell is manufactured off-site, most fiberglass installations are finished in a matter of weeks rather than the several months a concrete build takes.
